THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE VINTAGE GERMAN LORENZ ca. 8, 5 inch 22 cm FIELD COIL FULL RANGE DRIVER 1939.
This speaker was manufactured in 1938-39 in Germany by one of the leaders in german electronics.
The LORENZ radios were known as the "GOLDEN KLANG" (GOLDEN SOUND).
The speaker is in VERY GOOD optical condition. Very good cone, no holes no tear.
The phenollic spider is in great condition, the voice coil area is pretty clean and moves sm...ooth.
Very hard to find in this condition.
The technical condition is great, too.
The Ohmmeter measuring showed:
Field Coil:ca.1500 Ohms
voice coil: 3, 5 Ohms
Anti hum coil is 0, 5 Ohm.
