Up for sale is the legendary Sony XR-7500 pullout cassette player with CDX-A15 (10) disc changer.XR-7500 was Sony's top of the line in 1990.This is deadhead unit which means you need to hook it up to amplifier.It has (3) RCA preouts (front+rear and sub).
I used to lust this radio back in high school in 1990 but could not afford it.
The radio is in mint condition and it's in perfect working condition.Tape player works perfect (load /eject and play fine)AM/FM works perfect.CD chang...er command works perfectWire harness (super rare, dont ever, ever lose it) looks like never been used.Remote control has some wear marks.(battery is not included).NO manual ( this radio is easy to use unlike nowdays radios)
CDX-A15:The changer looks used and has some marks from previous installation.No mounting bracket but i would make some kind of enclosure for it and wrap the changer with thick sponge/foam before you put it inside the enclosure for old fashion way anti vibration.It works perfect and comes with long cable extension if you want to mount it in the trunk.
Perfect for old school periode correct build or simply for 80s-90s classic car restoration.
