This listing is for a quality sterling silver J.W.Benson pocket watch, dating from 1876.
An great example of a J.W.Benson fusee pocket watch. In good condition and good working order.
The watch has a fusee lever, chain driven movement with gold balance and regulator needle. Working well and keeping good time.
Movement signed J.W.Benson, 58 & 60 Ludgate Hill, to H.R.H The Princ...e of Wales and numbered 30362.
The watch has a sterling silver case, hallmarked throughout for London, 1876. Numbered 30362 matching the movement.
The case is in good condition throughout. Some light marks commensurate with it's age...see pics.
White enamel dial is in good condition for its age with a couple of hairlines, signed "J.W.Benson, 58 & 60 Ludgate Hill, London". Glass in good order.
The watch measures approx 49mm across and weighs 110 grams.
