This rare radiator emblem is from a Jeffery Quad 4-wheel drive truck used by the military for supplying the troops in Mexico on the Punitive Expedition. It was found while metal detecting around Columbus, New Mexico, the site of Pancho Villa's raid in March 1916 and subsequent camps associated with the Punitive Expedition into Mexico. Pictures of these trucks can be seen on many early milita...ry photos and postcards. Very rare item-in dug, relic condition. Measures approx 3" across.
