For your consideration is this lovely Art Nouveau lamp featuring a beautiful young lady, depicting a circus preformer. This fantastic treasure is Circa 1880, titled "La Jongleuse" by C. Demeure according to: Bronzes Sculptors & Founders 1800-1930, volme 3, page 792, figure 3117. This lamp is silver plated spelter (spelter is a zinc based metal alloy), it is very large when compared to most figural lamps. The shade is satin finish clear crackle glass, sitting on a chrome fitter, bot...h go well with the silver finish. There is a switch on the backside of the base, new standard size socket and vintage style black cloth covered cord provide electrification, no more than a 20 Watt bulb should be used to keep heat to a minimum (bulb not included unless requested). This lovely lady is ready for display and use for generations to come, sure to increase in value as only art can. Packing will be done with the utmost care to insure a safe delivery however insurance will be provided in the event that the package is handeled extreemly rough. Condition should be judged by pictures, that said I did repair her left arm, it is a metal to metal repairl and not glue, it is very solid and we'll done, you can't tell from 3' away. The shade has a hole in the back side that is covered with clear tape so no one gets cut handling it, not noticable at all when mounted in back. There are no other repairs or issues with the lamp, the shade, fitter, socket and wiring are all replacements.Height: 24"
