Rebuilt 1954, " Aircraft Mark 196 " Smiths / Ingersoll Pocket Watch.

Hi all, and here is a rare and superb "Aircraft Mark 196" Pocket Watch, which was made in the UK in 1954.I have carried out the usual complete strip, ultrasonic clean, oil ( Moebius) and total meticulous rebuild and fitted a NEW MAINSPRING, A NEW GOOD QUALITY CRYSTAL, AND A NEW CROWN WINDER.
The watch winds nicely, runs nicely and keeps very good time.The perfect dial is complimented with black steel hands with all the original lume on the hands, and also has the original chrom...ed second hand.
The case is in excellent condition, with very few marks and no dents.The movement is in excellent condition showing very little wear as does the balance staff points which are still needle sharp resulting in very good timekeeping face up or down and excellent amplitude of the balance wheel.
To sum up, this is a very lovely pocket watch which has been completely restored.
It's rare to see such a nice example of this model in such good condition especially considering her age.She will delight the new owner and provide years of good solid and reliable service.
