The truck runs and drives excellent and has been meticulously maintained and is mechanically sound. This truck has been my pride and joy for several years and have finally decided to let it go to a new home as for I am retiring from the trucking industry. My loss will definitely be your gain. The engine has less than 157, 225 miles on a Platinum rebuild performed by Carolina CAT. The turbos and cylinder head along with the Jake brake housings and oil cooler were replaced at the same time as the Platinum rebuild. The transmission was also replaced and upgraded by Carolina CAT with a new (not remanufactured) Eaton Heavy Torque Rated 18 Speed along with a new fly wheel and clutch and has 180, 209 miles on them. Both of the rear ends were also replaced along with the axle bearings and hub seals and have less than 80, 000 miles on them. The fluids in both rear ends and transmission were recently serviced with full synthetic oil less than 1500 miles ago, and the engine oil was also changed at the same time with Mobil One Delvac 15-w40 which is the only oil that has ever been used in the engine. Engine air filter elements and cab filter element are new as well. All of the steering components such as steer axle king pins/ steering shaft/ tie rod/ drag link/bearings/ and seals have been replaced with genuine Peterbilt parts as well as all of the suspension airbags within the last year. It also has 10 brand new 11R24.5 “TALL RUBBER” tires with a complete 3 axle alignment (steer tires were also speed balanced). The brake pads are nearly new, 90+% pads, with nearly new brake drums all the way around. New air dryer was installed less than a year ago. The radiator and air charger were also replaced around the same time as the engine work was done. The fifth wheel was replaced with a new JOST #37 and has a Minimizer Slick Plate installed on it which does not require fifth wheel grease. The truck also has a nearly new Muncie wet line kit and 40 gallon polished aluminum frame mounted reservoir. The interior is immaculate and looks like new. I replaced both seats with hand made seats by Knoedler, “SUPER LOWPRO, ” which makes some of the nicest and most comfortable seats on the market today. The truck has over 124 LED exterior marker lights, 20” boxed in bumper, and full stainless rear fenders. The buyer will also receive the factory quarter fenders that came on the truck when I originally purchased it. Duplicates/copies of all paperwork for the work listed above will be given to the new owner. Truck is also for sale locally. The truck is being sold as-is. The deposit is non-refundable.As one can see, I have not spared any money or cut any corners maintaining or upgrading this truck.
