The AV-4049 Dambusters pays a tribute to perhaps the storied legacy of an elite and brave unit of Lancaster Bombers and their pilots. As part of the Allied bombing campaign the Dambusters were immortalized for their daring raids on the Dams of the Ruhr valley.A combination of ingenuity and sheer skill was needed to put man and machine together to realize such a mission.
