Precista 1988 Royal Navy Diver's Watch
Hi this week I'm selling off a small collection of British military issue diver's watches
I bought this watch several years ago as a non-runner & sent it to John Senior of Obsoletewatchandclockparts last year for a service-The movement was stripped & servicedNew mineral glass fittedNew battery & sealsNew crownPassed a water pressure test
Please note the original crown would not hold a water seal so was replaced with a new ...CWC Royal Navy watch crown, the same as MOD watchmakers often did when repairing these watches, apart from that the watch is all original, movement, bezel, dial, hands etc & all original lume. Low use (it still has its original factory case-back sticker in place) & very good condition for a military issued watch, problem free & running perfectly!
Included will be 1 NOS genuine issue MOD 18mm Admiralty grey strap, after years of searching I managed to find one pack of 20 straps at a MOD surplus outlet, they date to the early 90's before the MOD changed the colour of watch straps to a darker Nimrod grey. (sorry I will not sell the straps separately)
