This is a listing for my 1978 Datsun 280z powerd by an l28et from a 1982 Datsun 280zxturbo. The engine swap was completed in may and has been on the road since. The donor car had 95000 miles. Mated to the l28et is the t5 transmition with a short throw shifter and a light weight fly wheel. The engine itself is stock with the exception of a greddy blow off valve and 3" exhaust. I am selling the car as a drivable project as it can be driven but needs work. It has a...n exhaust leak that was going to be taken care of while adding an intercooler and larger turbo. Although it does not effect drivability. Being a northern car it had rust, the floor pans have been replaced although the frame rails need to be completed. When the floor work was finished the rough body work was completed consisting of deleting the running lights, emblems, and adding a roll pan. It is an original black pearl and was going to be repainted black. The car includes tons of extras, the original engine, original transmition, spare f54 block(complete engine), leather rx8 seats, miscellaneous badges, two center consoles, 240z front bumper, new bushings, boost guage, boost controller, and more.
