Newall pocket watch main spring winder set a nice vintage set housed in it's original plastic box ~ in perfectly functional condition ~ there are two winding handles with different sized hubs & both tabs that fit into the hole on the end of the mainspring are good ~ 1/2 dozen different sized barrels with the largest at 16mm & the smallest at 9.8 mm ~ this is the outside diameter of the spring winder & you... fit that into the mainspring barrel of the watch & then you push the brass button on the end of the holder which forces the spring out of the winder & into the watch barrel ~ this is the correct way to install a mainspring ~ if you install one by hand as some "watchmakers" have been known to do you wind up putting a bias on the spring & it does not perform as designed ~ the set does not show any signs of abuse & should serve well for the foreseeable future ~ for the enthusiast or the pro ~ hope you can use them! please ask questions and resolve issuesbefore you placeyour bid reserve?no reserve here! so if you like it you better place yourbid now before it gets away! thanks for checking out my listingand if you are into watches please check out my other offerings & you might want to keep a half-an-eye on myupcoming listings as i am liquidating a long time watchmaker'sestate-whilst i continue to span the globe for unique and exoticitems to bring to your door!you are the reason ebay is a success!Good Luck!tempus fugit ~ carpe diem the release of atomic power has changed everything except our way ofthinking... the solution to this problem lies in the heart of mankind.
