We require mandatory discussion of payment terms before purchase.ITEM DESCRIPTION: In this auction we are presenting a superb and highly collectible Omega Constellation 18K Solid Pink Gold Automatic Wristwatch from the 1960s. Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer Wristwatches from the 1950-1960s were some of the best serially-produced wristwatches ever. Even today Omega has taken design cues from this great era in the company’s history such as re-making the pie-pan dials. This current specimen of Omega Constellation is one of the top end models with 18K solid pink gold case and piepan dial with gold/black interspersed markers. It is much rarer to find 18K Gold Omega Constellation with Pink, Rose, and White Case Colors as these were sparingly produced compared to the yellow gold versions. This watch’s 18K pink gold case is also in excellent shape with minimal polishing so that the angles are still quite sharp throughout. Housed inside the watch is a wonderful Omega caliber 564 automatic chronometer movement with 24 jewels. The movement is in great shape with all of the original copper-colored gilding still with brilliant colors. Condition-wise the watch winds, sets, and runs but we have not serviced this vintage watch so we do not offer any guarantee. Vintage or antique watches should be fully serviced before planning to use it on regular basis to ensure accurate timing and to prolong its life. No returns will be accepted for this auction. Cosmetically as mentioned already the 18K pink gold case is in excellent shape for its age and the silver piepan dial is 100% original (not refinished). Pink gold hands and markers are all in excellent shape as well. The strap and buckle are aftermarket. Crown is signed Omega but incorrect for this watch model. Diameter without crown is 34.5mm.
