Fully serviced with a 12 month warranty. This is a very fine example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega.
This is a very fine exa...mple of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega. The watch is the Seamaster manual wind calibre 520 17 jewels, as you can see it is in fabulous condition. The black dial is in superb unmarked condition having been professionally restored. It has gilt hands and baton markers. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition. As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. The case is hallmarked and dates this watch to 1959. It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap and a new mahogany presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition. Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class. The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown. Overall this watch is in outstanding near mint condition, it looks as if it was rarely worn, it would make the perfect gift for any man.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
