ITEM: You are bidding on an antique Art Deco theater poster from a British pantomime production of Babes in the Woods, which shows the titular characters being rescued by a pin-up beauty in hero costuming; an unusual take on the children's story to be sure.
Printed by Taylor's of Wombwell, Yorkshire, one of the leading lithographic printers for provincial theaters, this poster has been wonderfully preserved in a warehouse since its creation along with many other fantastic British Art Deco theater posters in our inventory.
Measures 40" x 90"
CONDITION: In very fine warehouse archived condition; colors are exceptionally crisp as seen. There is a little bit of discoloration on the back of the paper that does not affect the color and a slight ripple that will flatten when displayed.
