For Repair: Jaeger LeCoultre Dirty Dozen British WWW Military Watch 1945. Condition is Pre-owned.Up again due to a buyer who never contacted me or paid.This rare and desirable watch was purchased from an estate in Cambridgshire England. The timepiece was serviced in 1965 (dated inside caseback) and sold to the previous owner's father by a London store that specialized in surplus military electronics as well as selling hi-fi equipment and record albums. The watch was later involved in a...n unfortunate incident of some type which caused it to go into a drawer for many years. As you can see the dial is cosmetically displaced and it is missing the seconds sub hand.I have intended to have this restored for years; but time and other hobbies have hindered this effort! To be clear, the watch is not working. What does happen is that the watch hands move and the watch winds freely with a distinctive, smooth click from the unique 679 movement. The wheel ticks over weakly but stops with minimal movement of the mechanism.The movement appears intact and the watch would be a great addition to a collection when repaired, with its old dial paint touched up 40 years ago and nothing else touched or replaced since the early 60s.
