Columbia 43 sailboat in Duluth MN on the great lakes. Been a freshwater boat its whole life. It has a good 150 and 110 genoa, a good main, spinnaker, Westerbeke Diesel, large forward V-berth, nice size head, nav station, large salon and nice galley area. It has actual stairs from the galley into the cockpit(not a steep ladder). It has the most comfortable cockpit of any boat I have ever had. It has an ray marine auto pilot but the clutch went out last summer and I haven't fixed it(have... the part number). The sails, Westerbeke diesel and stays are not original equipment and new keel bolts have already been sistered on this boat(big time safety factor). Most of the wring of this boat was updated by the previous owner. About half of the running rigging was replaced last year including the sheet lines. Its not a perfect boat, the deck has a three soft spots that will need attention and could use some work on the woodwork bellow and a couple railing stanchions leak and need re-bedding with 5200. The top could use paint and just little stuff here and there. Over all its a good old boat and I wish I had time to keep it. Given how much most 43 footers are priced this boat will be a good deal. I do not have a survey as this is not a 75k boat. Understand that this boat is not new, new ones this size are over 200k and I am looking for 7% of that. This is all and all a good boat with a lot of potential. It is not a marina rat at all.
