This is a quality English made half hunter. The movement is clean and tidy and runs well. It has been run continuously for several days and seems to have no snags, timekeeping has not been checked. The watch winds and sets from stem with no problems. Unusually, outer glass present (needs re-fixing) but no inner crystal. Case appears to be later nickel plated on top of (probably) worn gold plate, but looks very reasonable. Blue enamel chapter ring on front is clean and well defined. Fro...nt opens on the crown push. Hinges all solid but could be tidied up with end caps. Clean movement, 7 Jewel. Marked as Lancashire Watch Co Ltd, Prescot, England.
