Click images to enlarge Description PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND VIEW ALL THE PICTURES This auction is for a wonderful antique pocket watch. Be sure to view the pictures and you will see this is an ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH COMPANY pocket watch MADE IN THE U.S.A. According to the movement and Serial #17014838, this watch was manufactured in approximately 1913 with a 15 JEWEL movement. This watch is approximately 40 MM (SIZE 6s) in diameter measured across the back without the crown and weighs a total of 55.5 GRAMS. The CRYSTAL is missing but bezel is intact. DIAL is lightly scratched and soiled, but appears free of hairline cracks. Second hand is missing and hour hand is bent. Balance wheel does move freely, but watch movement IS NOT working and has not been inspected or checked for accuracy so will at least require a cleaning or adjustment to return to working order. Case is hallmarked for 10K GOLD FILL and is YELLOW GOLD. The case is decorated and is worn with scratches, and a number of small dings or dents in the covers. All covers snap closed. There are signs of BRASSING on high points. The bow is missing. We have provided pictures that can be enlarged for more detail, so view them, judge for yourself and then bid accordingly.
