This is a rare WWII period Universal Geneve Compax chronograph. The watch is 18K yellow gold. The watch is powered by the Universal Geneve caliber 287 movement. The case measures 37mm, jumbo for its era.
THE WATCH IS 100% ORIGINAL. THE DIAL IS NOT REDONE. THE CASE APPEARS TO BE UNPOLISHED!
The watch runs very accurately. The chronograph functions are working perfectly.
The caseback has a very minor dimple. Very hard to see. All serial numbers are crisp indicating the cas...e must be unpolished.
The dial is in incredible condition based upon the fact that the watch was produced in 1942. There is minor loss of print.
