18 Size, 7 Jewels, Elgin Pocket Watch, Open Face &n...bsp; BISCUIT WATCH Stem Wind and Stem Set
This is an 18 Size, 7 Jewels, Elgin Pocket Watch, Open Face, BISCUIT WATCH, which is running nice and smoothly but could use a cleaning and oiling as with all mechanical watches. It is a Stem wind and Stem Set, Grade 288, Model 5, Class 106, estimated to have been made in 1921. The movement number is 23478468. The thicker crystal glass is clear but have some very minute scratches which come with an older pocket watch such as this one. We did not see any hair lines on the dial. We do not see any dents on the case. This is a mechanical pocket watch which if you want a pocket watch that keeps precise time, then you need to purchase a battery operated quartz pocket watch.
