For auction is the first of a large estate of antique prints that I will be listing. Each was carefully collected by a lifelong lover of natural history and antique prints and guaranteed to be authentic and of the period. This print is approximately 21.75" x 15.25" and features the J.Wolf & H.C. Richter del et lith "Tetrao Urogallus" from John Gould's "The Birds of Great Britain", 1862-1873. Please note the bad mat burn on the reverse and along the left and right front margins due ...to previous framing with non archival methods. The original colored front is still vibrant and would look good properly framed. An internet search found 2 excellent conditioned copies of this same print listed for $1200 and $600 so the price I am listing this copy is significantly less. Due to condition issues this print is being **SOLD AS IS**.
