One (1) Matchbox Moko Lesney 1958 Vauxhall Cresta Sedan 22 b2, pale pink body, silver trim front and rear, read tail lights, gloss black painted metal base; 9 x 20 grey plastic wheels, dome and riveted axle ends, no window insert, A type short front post, B type silver trim mask spray applied to head lights, grille, front and rear bumpers. R...ed trim rear. Stannard catalogue casting code 3 of 27 (pale pink, gloss black, no win, 9x20GPW, D-R, A-B). This model is in excellent condition. It was introduced in 1958 and was sold in this type and 14 variations based upon body colour, wheel colour and/or type, and absence or presence of a window insert, as well as tint thereof (Mack). It is approximately 66 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the original paintwork detail. Some paint work detail has been carefully and accurately restored. The 9 x 20 grey plastic wheels show no signs of use. This Vauxhall Cresta Sedan will display as new. They are constructed of correct weight tag board. They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography. 2. Grading:VNM = Very Near Mint. The paintwork is, for all practical purposes, close to new. Original factory flaws will be noted in the listing if they exist. All original accessories are present.
NM = Near Mint. Restoration unnecessary. The paintwork is nearly perfect, clean, shiny and bright on all exterior surfaces (except for possibly the base, if painted). Original, virgin paintwork approaches 100% with the possible exception of any factory paint flaws, very minor spot paint work detail restoration, or very minor storage (not impact) wear. Negligible rolling use of the wheels may be present. The model is mechanically perfect. All original appliques and accessories are present.
EXC = Excellent. Minor paintwork and/or applique imperfections may exist, usually due to improper storage, not play, and will be evident in the photos. Paintwork imperfections may have been restored. Decals or other appliques may have been replaced with replicas. For this grade, no mechanical problems exist, including windows, if applicable, and no such repairs have ever been performed, in our opinion. Minor wheel use may be evident.
