Concord Swiss Made Men ' S Saratoga Watch With 18k Gold And Diamonds
Item History & Price
Overall, the watch is in very good condition. The dial and hands are perfect. The sapphire crystal is scratch-free. The case shows only very minor signs of wear. The bracelet also looks great. It has a number of minor dings and scratches from normal wear, but those can be polished out by a jeweler if desired. The watch is rated water resistant for 5 ATU (50 meters), and has a rubber gasket plus a screwed-in case-back. However, as with all vintage watches, I would keep it dry to be safe.
The watch and bracelet is approximately 7 & 1/2 inches on the inside, which will fit men's medium and some larger wrists. Note that I added a few extra links to the bracelet to get it to this size. The extra links are authentic and correct for this Saratoga watch, but not that the extra links do not have gold accents, but are all stainless steel. The clasp is in excellent condition, closes tight like new. Also the solid gold Concord emblem on the clasp is in superb condition. See the pictures to assess the overall condition for yourself.
The watch is powered by the accurate and high quality ETA 955.112 quartz movement with 7 jewels. This movement was used in many of the more expensive quartz watches in the 1990s, including those by Tag Heuer, Baume & Mercier, Omega, etc. All functions work well. I just changed the battery, so the watch should run for a long time before needing another change.
You would be hard pressed to find this rare model, in particular in this good condition and with a near full-size bracelet. Super low starting bid for this watch, is less than the value of just the gold accents, and is far less than the value of diamonds in the dial.
I do not have the box or papers, but I will ship the watch very securely.
