The watch has a rounded-square bezel of 9ct gold with a circular dial.
The white coloured dial has Arabic numeral hours, an outer minutes ring and two blued steel hands.
The dial has a subsidiary seconds dial with sweeping hand at the 6 o’clock position.
The dial is named ‘J.W. Benson, London’.
The case back (also of gold) is n...amed and hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1956 with a makers mark of ‘ALD’.
There are two serial numbers ‘12100’ and ‘787871’.
The watch has a 900 calibre, 15 jewel, manual wind movement named ‘JW Benson, London’ and marked ‘Swiss Made’.
The watch comes on a vintage brown leather strap.
