You are viewing a vintage 1960's die cast Texaco tanker truck made by Buddy L. The piece has the original manufacturer's tag on the bottom, along with the manufacturer's identifying information of Moline Pressed Corp. The tanker is about 23-1/4" long and about 6" wide at widest point. The wheels and hubs are plastic, and the silver paint on the hubs has flaked off in places. The decals are all intact. There is a small bit of spotting on some, but that may ...clean off. I would not want to damage the decals by wiping them. There is some scuffing and paint loss in small places, as is consistent with the material of which the item is made and the use of it by a child. I do not believe it was played with very much. Please see photos of the paint loss in several places -- it is minor. There is also a shallow dent along the rim of the undercarriage (see photos). It does not detract. The right end of the silver-colored bumper is chipped off (see photos). The tanker's color is still a nice vibrant red, it has all its wheels , and in my opinion, is in quite good vintage condition. These old Buddy L toys are very desirable collectibles and are becoming hard to find, and one in this condition is quite a find indeed! Low opening bid does not reflect the quality of this item, but it makes bidding more fun! Please review the photos carefully for the best description regarding this item.
