This is a used Swatch Watch. It was my childhood watch that I wore in middle school in 1985 when there was a Swatch Watch craze. It has been sitting safely in storage since that time. The watch is working and has a brand new battery. The strap is also brand new. The strap is a generic brand, silicon rubber that was purchased on Ebay to replace the original strap which was not in good shape. The strap is not the original Swatch strap but has the same ...color (black), size, and design.
There are various scuffs and scratches on the front and back of the watch. I tried to show them in the picture. They are more visible when viewing the watch from an angle. They are from daily use. They do not affect the operation of the watch.
From my research, this Swatch Model is from 1985 and is known as the "Yamaha Racer GJ700" model. It appears to be fairly rare. I saw that one retailer had it listed for $165 but was sold out.
The back of the watch says "51-13-P", "Patented Water Resistant", "Swiss Made", and "755".
I will ship via regular USPS mail in a padded envelope.
