A great vintage art deco piece that has retained its appeal across decades. The artist, Christine Rosamond Presco (1947 - 1994), became known by her middle name, Rosamond. At one time, her art sold in the millions. In the early 1970s, when Rosamond's name was widely known, it was extremely unusual for a woman to rise to such prominence in the art scene. Rosamond is best known for her use of negative space and the predominance of women in her pi...ctures.This piece, Simone, is professionally framed in a beautiful mirrored frame – A Windor Art Product, the art publishing division of The Illinois Moulding Company of Chicago. The print itself has no apparent ware or damage. It is 30 inches x 20 inches. The overall dimensions are approximately 35 inches x 25 inches. The frame is in fair condition but the mirror is fogged in some areas and there is one small but noticeable mark.
