Shown is a rare, large, original framed Lou Shabner "Melanie" print. The unglazed print measures 23" by 19" in the frame and the frame measures 28 1/2" by 24 1/2". The print is in very good condition with minimal wear and tear for its age. The frame shows some minimal nicks and dings with the worst shown at the bottom right (pic #5). The image of Melanie is free of damage with a few peripheral scuffs and scratches pictured: there is a small scuff measuring approx.1/4" to the right of h...er ribbon, there is a 1" scratch at the felt mat at lower right, there are 1/2" parallel scratches in the extreme upper right corner and a 3/8" scratch at the lower left (please see pics).
