For sale is this extremely neat 1935 CSM Chalkware Lamp Airplane Crash with a Original Art Deco vaseline glass Brain Shade which isnt easy to find. This collectors lamp comes right out of a era which to me is the most fascinating of all. With there amazingly styled lighting to there beautifull sculpted furniture this lamp speaks volumes to its time. With the sharp lines and geometrical patterns the piece is sure to raise eyebrows in any setting. The bizarre Brain shaped globe adds even... more creativity to the piece. The lamp does need to be rewired and is currently not working though any skilled electrician can surely bring this frankenstein back to life. The back of the lamp read CSM 1935 #126 and even not working this lamp is serves as a sculpture or piece of art as is. The lamp measures 11" to top where globe sits and 15" to top of globe. The base is 8 1/4" L x 7 1/4" W. There are a few knicks that need to be touched up. There are no chips, cracks, or breaks on the shade.Id really like to see this be fixed and used to light a room like had so many years ago.
