Rhodesia fought a grueling 15 year bush war against two insurgent groups, ZIPRA and ZANLA. Though small, her army was extremely professional, and was never defeated in the field. Rhodesian troops wore a distinctive brush camouflage uniform that quickly became evocative of post-colonial brushfire wars in Africa. This Rhodesia Army Bush War RHODESIAN CAMO FIELD COMBAT T-SHIRT is in good condition, with some scattered small holes at front and back, some loose seam stitching at the lef...t side of the collar, and with some scattered fading and age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the T-shirt is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough 100% cotton construction. Most interestingly, it retains a good amount of the original Rhodesian brush camouflage colors, boasts the classic "ringer" collar and short sleeves, and is unmarked as to its maker or date. It measures 18 3/4" from underarm to underarm across the chest, and is a fine example of a very rare, original Rhodesia Army Bush War RHODESIAN CAMO FIELD COMBAT T-SHIRT. A great relic of the "savage wars of peace" in Africa. We have shown a photo of Rhodesian "troopies" in the field next to a stockpile of weapons; both men wear similar camouflage T-shirts.
