A very impressive and attractive Victorian mantle clock
Ornate gilded metal case with winged robed cherubs to either side of the movement
Red veined marble dial and lower panel
French striking movement on the hour & half hour on a bell
Makers mark reads 'H&F Paris'
The clock is in perfect working order and keeps good time
Front right hand leg has been previously restored - displays very well
Stands 16" high X 12" wide X 7" deep
I amselling the cloc...ks as working & take video of this but I do not guaranteethe working condition after transportation – collection preferred. I do notguarantee the accuracy time display of the clock. For an accurate time display, all mechanical clocks need an adjustment. It is normal for a mechanical clockto slow or rush for 1-5 minutes per day. All antiqueclocks no matter how well they have been serviced will always require settingup after transit. Some clocks will run straight away after setting up but mostwill require further adjustments in order to keep them going, setting intobeat, ensuring the clock is level, side to side/front to back & regulatingfor time keeping. I recommend you use an experienced clock person orprofessional clock maker to set the clock up for you.
