This is a nice example of a Vintage Omega Seamaster Quartz Day/Datefrom 1984. Anew battery was installed 9/21/19 and watch is running beautifully. Thisis from an estate sale so no history is known, however I will do my best todescribe both the flaws and attributes of this timepiece below. If there are questions I have not answeredplease feel free to message me and I will respond to the best of my ability. Case: The case is a stainless steel case with a fluted 14k ...goldbezel (tested). The case has some abrasionsconsistent with wear with some slight scratches at the bevels near thelugs. With a few little dings noticed aswell. Overall a brushed finish in OKshape. The crown does not appear to be originalas I do not see the Omega logo present. It is 33.5 mm in diameter not including crown, 40 mm lug to lug with an integrated bracelet. It is nice and thin at 7.6 mm. Crystal: The crystalis a brand new mineral glass crystal. The one it was purchased with was cracked and needed replacement. This one is flawless Face: The face is agold toned face with applied non numeric hour markers at all but the 3location. The Day / Date function residesthere in a beveled edge box surrounded by a thin black accent. There are lumedots present at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 locations but none of them illuminate atthis time. There is a slight semicircular scratch on the face that I can only see with magnification (looks likethe hour hand came in contact at one point). Case back: The case back is stainless steel with the SeamasterSeahorse and Omega logo prominently displayed on the outside with the 1425 calnumber printed as well. Inside the case backis the following information: Fond Acier Inoxydable, Omega Watch Co, FabSuisse, Swiss Made, LL, 1980217 3960943, 3960946 1960250 Movement: This is an Omega signed cal 1425 7 jewelmovement. It has had a new batteryinstalled on 9/21/19 and is running beautifully. Serial number on movement dates to 1984. Band: The band is probably the most rough part of thisitem. The link closest to the lug on the12 side in slightly bent, the one at the 6 side has a mark on the rightside. The plating is in good shape and notoverly worn that was noticed, but like the case there are some abrasions throughoutconsistent with wear. Sized at 7 ¾ currentlyin the middle of the micro adjustment of the clasp. Will go from about 7 ½ to 8 ¼ without anydifficulty.
