LOVE DISARMED 1899 Pattern by Reed and Barton Sterling Silver Patent appld for. Cupid and Psyche motif at handle, the high polish pierced WAFFLE SERVER is the ULTIMATE piece of the incomparable collection which is becoming harder to find with the OLD MARKS and NO MONOGRAMS (or signs of removal). Light usage of over 100 years and not buffed to remove all scratches, which inevitably often removes the detail of this very ornate design. This piece... is super fine in detail and condition, and the enormous size of 11" plus the very heavy weight of 249.67 g makes it the most superb example of Art Nouveau. At the widest point the handle is 1.5" across. SIMPLY ELEGANT Signature confirmation required.
