Wehave for your viewing and bidding pleasure a vintage pressed steeltoy truck. On the front grill and the back of the tailgate inembossing it has the name Tonka. On each side of the door it has adecal stating Tonka MOUND, MINN. HYDRAULIC. It is a toy dump truckwith a hydraulic cylinder. When you push the lever on the driversside the box tilts up and drops back. You press the top of the boxdown to once engage the closing. There is also a lever on the driversside that opens the tailgate.... The style, shape and design of the cabis like a 1957 Ford truck. On each of the tires it has the name Tonkaembossed 2 times. The wheel covers have a little rusting. The backpassenger side wheel cover has a little more than the others. Thetruck is in very good condition but shows some play use mainly insidethe box and the metal box cover that goes over the cab. The top ofthe white cab has a little light scratching as does the top of thefenders with a little bit on the right door. There is also somelittle oily kind of soiled areas from the hydraulic cylinder. Fromthe tip of the front bumper to the end of the box it measures 13 ¼”long. Across the front bumper it is 5 ½” wide. Across the backunder the tailgate it measures 6 1/8” wide. To the top of the boxcover over the cab it is 6 ¼” high.
