A vintage mechanical wristwatch Poljot "Shturmanskie" from "The First Moscow Watch Plant", Russia.
- chronograph (to start and to stop use the upper button on the right, to reset - the lower one) - date indication, that can be quickly changed by moving the hour hand between 10 and 12 o'clock - rotating bezel, that is moved by the second crown on the left - fully made from stainless steel - luminous hands and dial - unique gr...een-blue dial that looks like an airplane dashboard: at 3 o'clock there's a minute indicator, at 9 o'clock - a chronograph; above 6 o'clock position and on the caseback there's the depiction of the symbol of the USSR Air Force - new leather strap - 23 jewels 3133 Russian mechanism (there's the inscription "Made in Russia" on it) - serviced by a professional master - 30 day warranty and free returns - next day shipping by AIR mail with a tracking number - 24/7 support
The existence of "Shturmanskie" began with a special order received by the "First Moscow Watch Plant" from the USSR Air Force - to make watches for pilots and navigators. These watches did not enter the free market: this reliable and accurate instrument passed through military acceptance, and then was given to graduates of military aviation schools and to flight crews. For the first time it was not even in their property: after retirement the command decided if to leave the watch as a souvenir to a veteran or not. Moreover "Shturmanskie" was the first watch flown into space.
The watch is in great cosmetic condition, runs well and keeps time accurately. The chronograph works a little bit incorrectly - it starts from the 4th second. The mechanism was cleaned and oiled by a professional watch master. The date switches without problems, the bezel rotates smoothly, the luminous dial is well-highlighted.
