The Classic 80's large 42mm Mens Seiko 150m Water-resistant Divers Black-faced w/ Hazel green markers and Silver-Outlined White arms. Having a 6309 inside makes it most probably a 1987 vintage from its serial #. Heavy and Hefty 3.5oz.watch. The 6309 first came out as a "Turtle"; this was the next 6309, the slimmed-down version, , which was to carry on to become the 7002 's and 7S26 diver watches. Very similar but different casings.. The mainspring needs to be wound&nb...sp; by the movement of the rotor , and will stop if just placed on your wrist. Twist spinning back and forth for a few minutes can do that , or place in automatic watch winder It is a slightly used watch practically and there is nothing wrong with it. It will not run accurately if just placed on your wrist. Understand that the mainspring is completely unwound when it reaches you, and have to wind it, but it does not have manual winding., and you have to induce it, by having the rotor wind it
