BACKGROUND INFOElvis Presley original poster advertisement for his 1966 soundtrack album 'Spinout'. This poster would have been displayed on record shop windows or walls to promote sales of Elvis' new album at the time. Since this was used by record shops, rather than Billboard or any other major promoter, these type of ads were usually taken down and thrown out or lost. It is hard to say how many survived and are still around today, let alone in the condition of this one we have here ...for sale. POSTERThe poster measures about 3'11" in length and 1'4" in width. It consists of a white cardstock-like paper with the front and back art covers of the soundtrack LPM-3702 pasted professionally onto the paper. The heading "Elvis' New Album" and "RCA Victor" on the bottom are printed directly onto the paper. This ad was printed in the United States. TAKE ADVANTAGE AND BID ON THIS ITEM AS IT VERY WELL CAN BE A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!CONDITIONThis particular poster ad is in great to excellent condition (hard to say since there is not another copy available for comparison). The paper itself id still strong and holding well. The printing of all text is very sharp with bright and clear colors. The two pieces of art cover are in great condition as well having no notable wear such as stains, writing, creasing, tearing, etc. Obviously the poster has creases from being folded for storage over the years, but there are no tears or rips at all due to this creasing. See the provided photos for your judgement, but this poster ad should be more than satisfactory for any collector. A MUST have for any Elvis collector!SHIPPING USPS Priority Mail. This poster will be folded and protected by plastic sleeves. It will be shipped in a sturdy mailer with cardboard stiffners to prevent any potential damage. This will NOT be shipped in a poster tube as it is an original, vintage poster 50+ years old and rolling it could potentially cause the fold creases to split.
