Very Rare Vintage Northwood Carnival Glass 6” wide Flat Advertising Plate - We Use Broeker’s Flour. Northwood made this for the Chas Broeker Co of Owensboro, KY. They were presumably given away as premiums to customers. This is one of the hardest Northwood Carnival Glass advertising designs to find, only made in a 6” flat plate on amethyst/purple base glass, circa 1910-1915, only 10-12 known to exist when John Resnik published his definitive book on Carnival Glass Advertising and... Lettered items in 1987. I’ve been fortunate to own several of these over the last 25 years and I can assure you that this one is one of the prettiest with overall green iridescence. The challenge in collecting most carnival glass advertising is finding any at all and even harder to find pretty ones. This could be the key piece to start or anchor a collection. All my pictures are taken with an older iPhone and rest assured that I do NOT color enhance any of them like a lot of eBay sellers do. Happy to take more pictures or answer any questions.
