DescriptionDelightful Paul Stankard Art Glass Paperweight featuring a beautiful vibrant wild flower bouquet. One of Paul's early break through weights into the world of 3 dimensional lamp work cased glass that led to this artist commonly being referred to as the father of the modern paperweight Sculpture. Measures at about 3" in diameter and 2.2" in height. Has a concave basil rim base. Inscribed on it's side is the Artist Signature "Paul J. Stankard" along with "...A743 1978" and an "S" Cane. In very good condition with minor pin tip mark and light shelf wear to the base. Please see pictures for further description. Stand excluded; only used here for illustrative purposes.
