This is a wonderful vase by Rene Lalique, the design is called Biches. It depicts deer in foliage in various poses, there are fourteen deer in all. It is in clear and frosted glass and dates to circa 1932, it has very, very faint signs of sepia staining that has gradually faded so appears more as clear glass
It is signed twice, R LALIQUE on the base and R Lalique to the bottom of the side of the vase as photographed.
It measures 7" high
It... is in excellent vintage condition, there are some light scratches to the base which is usual for pieces of this age.
It makes an absolutely beautiful display item - selling without reserve to the highest bidder - no buy it now offers please
