Wonderful old color lithograph theater program book for the Colonial Theatre Beautiful Chicago. Published 1910 by Clyde W. Riley Adv. System. This program booklet measures 5 x 6.75 inches and has 24 pages. The front features the image of the interior foyer of the theater "Foyer de Luxe." The inside pages have advertisements mixed into the program listings, which included the acts and actors. Clyde Riley was located in the Majestic Theater building and also... published programs for the Colonial, Olympic, Powers, Majestic and Chicago Opera House. The program for March 1910 was Mlle. Adeline Genee in The Silver Star by Harry B. Smith. Inside there are loads of advertisements: Swift's premium oleo margarine, Mandel Brothers tailoring, Hot Brau Edelweiss Vaudeville Quintette, Sante Fe Railroad first-class to California, The Hub Henry Sytton Great Hat Exhibit for Men, Brevoort Hotel Restaurant, New York Central Lines, Dorothy Vernon Perfume, Vaudeville Madame Sherry, Hotel La Salle, The Pattington Hotel on the Lake Shore, The Town Car De Lux Electric Automobile, Rambler and more. Most of the pages are printed in blue, gray and orange, although a few have more color variations. Nice back page ad for Reduso Corsets. Back has a beautiful ad for Edelweiss Beer, P. Schoenhofen Brewing Co in Chicago, beer served at Hofbrau, Edelweiss, Richelieu and First Class Restaurants. The back has an edge tear at the middle on the left side and spine wear, but overall all pages are in-tact, nice and clean. Enjoy!
