THE CALIPH, Playbill type program, 07/21/1924, Tour, Biltmore Theatre, Los Angeles, CA. The musical opened in San Francisco at the Wilkes Alcazar Theatre on 06/05/24 and then toured but never went to NYC. The cast includes Raymond Hitchcock, Henry T. Hanlin, Alisar, Cooper Lawley, Roland Bottomley, Ethel Cattus, Theodora Warfield, Lew Lubin, Marie Horgan and Dorothy Clare. Music, lyrics and book by Maurine Montague. Directed by Oscar Eagle and choreographed by N...ell Harding. The program is complete.The scan is of the front cover. This is NOT a reproduction!!Note: This is a regular Playbill size program.Condition is near excellent with minor wear.CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
