On offer is a rare and beautiful Chinese 18th century famille verte bowl with original matching cover decorated with dragon and phoenix amongst flowers. The centre of the bowl and underside of the cover is decorated with a dragon in underglazed blue. The bowl is measured at 11 cm in diameter and dated to the Qianlong period with Qianlong six character seal script marks to the base and cover. The condition is almost perfect for the cover with some minor rim glaze frittings. ...The bowl has been restored. Further, there are no additional cracks, chips or restorations.
