Murano Barovier & Toso Green " Bullicanti " Glass Oval Vase, 1950s

For sale, a rare and very beautiful Murano Green "Bullicanti" Glass Oval Vase, designed by famed Italian glassmakers Barovier & Toso and dating from the mid-1950s. The vase stands 27cm (10 inches) tall and is 21cm (8 inches) at the top, and 11cm (4.5 inches) at the base. The vase is made from translucent green bubbled glass in a mid-20th century Modernist style, with six glass "petals" extending from the base of the vase towards the top.
This was purchased in 2016 from an ...American Murano Glass collector and is in excellent condition. There is a small chip in the base of the vase (see photos) which I suspect was made deliberately by a previous owner so that the vase would sit more comfortably on a flat surface - this is not visible when it is displayed. This is a stunning display piece and can also be used for holding floral arrangements.
I will post within the UK or internationally via the Global Shipping Programme. The vase is quite heavy, so will need to be packed carefully if it is to be shipped. If you are based in central London please contact me and we can arrange for a pick-up.
