A superb set of 6 old Meissen hand decorated, shaped porcelain soup bowls or deep plates in the "Yellow Dragon and Phoenix" pattern with red dot accents and gilding. These fine bowls also have a rare variation with embossed basketweave type designs on the rim. Size: 9.37" diameter. They all have the blue crossed swords mark (2nd sort) of Meissen Germany - dot inside swords indicates they were produced from 1924-34. All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs (m...ay be some tiny scattered, age-appropriate minor wear to decoration). Simply gorgeous!
