Large French Quimper 4 Part 3 Tier Oyster Server & Sauce Boat - Draguignan
Selling from a collection of hard to find French Quimper pottery. 3 tier oyster server with sauce boat. Each tier can be used by itself to serve less. All faience glaze and hand painted. Pretty yellow with cobalt blue edges. Signed as shown. Measures 13-1/4" across and 1-1/4" high, serves 12 (largest bottom plate). The two raised platforms are each 2-1/4" high and 10-3/4" & 9-1/2" across. They... serve 10 or 8. Also comes with matching sauce boat which was broken and repaired. See our other auctions for more pieces. Please note: This glaze always has thin and missing paint spots, broken bubbles etc., and imperfections, as was produced by the factories, not damage. Condition: no damage to the 3 plates, boat is repaired (see last 2 photos) and probably not usable, but looks good for display.
