TOP-ANTIQUE-ARTS SUPERB SIGNED BLACK FOREST WOOD CARVED FIGURAL SCENE 3D DIORAMA MUSEUM PIECE 19th.C This is a very rare to find antique Swiss Brienz Black Forest lime wood high quality carved diorama depicting a peasant couple with a child attributed to the Steiner Familyto the painter " Defregger ( see picture ) . The Hunters farewell to the mother and his Children . This piece is made I'll think it is carved around the d...ate 1875. There is an signature in the right corner " HP" . This piece comes from an art gallery in Innsbruck, you can see it at the backside. The carving itself measures 23 cm. ( 9.05" ) x 18 cm. ( 7.08" ) and the framework measures 30 cm. ( 11.81" ) x 24 cm. ( 9.45" ) x 6 cm. ( 2.36" ) diep. It was difficult to taken the photos with the glass. The carving is in excellent condition , the framework has some rubs to the frame but no noticeable . This is a very rare and beautiful example of fine wood work. For the real Collector!Material: Wood Measurements: 30 cm. ( 11.81") x 24 cm. ( 9.45") x 6 cm. (2.36" ). Conditions: Superb . condition!
