ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED NIPPON (MORIMURA) GOLD MORIAGE PORCELAIN URN
Offered for purchase is an antique hand-painted Nippon urn with gold moriage accents, made in Japan in the early part of the 20th Century. Delicate porcelain, moriage decoration accented in gold gilt, around two scenes; the front panel shows two dancers around a jug while a girl plays a double flute, the back panel shows an idyllic pond scene. This urn is 11.5 inches high and 6 inches in diameter. It is clearly marked with "Han...d Painted Nippon" on the underside of the bowl with the M in the middle of a laurel wreath.
