We are listing today a great Antique 19th C. Stoneware Salt Glazed Decorated Small Pennsylvania Cake Crock. This crock is in Excellent Condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Slight manufactured roughness, some browning to the salt glaze, you can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition, very clean. The crock measures 5" tall x 8" at the top rim x 9 1/4" wide at the handles x 7 7/8" at the base and weighs ...approximately 4lb 11oz. Great small form with hand tooled and applied handles, great drooping leaf cobalt blue decorations bordering the top rim numbering 6 and blue at each handle. We believe this is a Chester County stoneware piece, possibly made by R.J. Grier. A great Cake Crock, great small form, it would make a great addition to anyone's collection or home.
