ITEM DESCRIPTIONI have just made a great find. Four autograph books and a few letters and pictures circa late 1920's - 1930's. Purchased from the family of the original collector, a lady named Elizabeth Dennis.The collection was so amazing that the Wichita Beacon wrote an article about the collection and the lady.The article is pictured here in my ebay ad.The autographs were obtained by writing to the celebrity and enclosing an autograph album page for the person to sign.Most of... the pages have a very light vertical fold down the center. Pages measure 4x6.Some of the celebrities answered with a letter, a few sent a signed picture. I will be listing many of the autographs here now.This collection contains historical figures, music figures, movie stars, theater stars, authors, columnists, sports writers and one tennis star.Nice vintage autographs, signed during the prime of their careers during the 1920s and 1930s.

His early career coincided with recording innovations that allowed him to develop an intimate singing style that influenced many male singers who followed him, including Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Dick Haymes, and Dean Martin. Yank magazine said that he was "the person who had done the most for the morale of overseas servicemen" during World War II.[
